Those of you that follow my blog know that I've been participating in a 6 week long contest at Sassy Cards N Scraps! Well, the week 4 challenge was to create a snow globe! Well, I decided to climb outside of my little comfortable box, and create a real, working snow globe!
So.... from these items....
I created this...
Most of the supplies, I had in my stash! Only had to purchase the canister, floral adhesive & little tree!!

Wow! Can you believe how fast the Holiday Season is approaching!? All of the stores are decked out for Christmas & the TV commercials have started! In all the hustle & bustle of the season, let's not forget Thanksgiving, and remember to Give Thanks for all of the blessings we receive every day!
Things have been tough for our family over the past year or so, but I am so Thankful that we are all together & that we have a roof over our heads & food on our table. We may not have everything we want, but we are all together & healthy and that's what's important.
OK, now I have to admit that I'm getting a jump on the holidays as well! As part of that, I joined in on the 6 Week Santa's Workshop at Sassy Cards N Scraps! Last week's challenge was to create cards using only a few supplies (you can see my cards in a previous update), and this weeks challenge was to create a handmade holiday ornament!
I created mine using a styrofoam ball, Queen & Company Felt Fusion, Autumn Leaves Rhonna Farrer Patterned Paper, Prima Flowers, Misc. Ribbon, a large Misc. Gem & straight pins.
I joined in on a 6 week long contest at Sassy Cards N Scraps & this is the first week's challenge! We were supposed to choose 2 pc. of patterned paper, 2 pc. of cardstock & embellishments. With these supplies, we were to create as many cards as possible using only those supplies (plus the card bases). I ended up with 15 cards... all different!! I chose non-traditional colors for my cards. My patterned paper was light blue w/snowflakes & mult-colored blocks, and my cardstock was blue & white! I also used stamps, bling, ribbon & stickles... lots of stickles!!
Just wanted to share a pic of my 3 youngest girls in their Halloween costumes! I thought I took more pics, but my camera was not working quite right, and they aren't on the camera. :( But here is one of my girls...
I thought I would start with some holiday/winter cards! This one was inspired by a challenge over at the Mothers & Daughters Creations blog. The challenge was to create a window card or a card using acetate. I chose to create a Window Card...
Well I'm off to do more creating! TFL & Have a great afternoon!
