Hello! Tonight I wanted to share a layout I created that serves 2 purposes...
First, to introduce one of this months kits over atQueen Scraps! This kit features some fun Basic Grey "Oliver" patterned papers & alpha stickers, as well as other goodies! So come on by & check it out!!
And, second, I really wanted to participate in the sketch challenge over at Thoughts 2 Paper... I've been stalking this blog for a while & thought it was time to play along! You can check out the sketch challenge details here.
I wanted to share the Baby Shower cake I made for a friend at work! She showed me a picture of a cake (pink & brown) and asked if I could do something similar in Blue & Green for her shower. I think it turned out SO cute!! I also made the blocks on top of the cake using paint, Cricut Expression & then I sealed them!
I also made these cupcakes for a going away party for my boss. I made 4 flavors (chocolate, vanilla, strawberry & lemon) & used my Cricut Expression to create the little "garden" on top!
I am hoping to get more business making cakes from the shower cake... it was so much fun!!
Supplies for both pages: Girls Paperie "Paper Girl" patterned paper; Basic Grey pearl flourishes; Flowers; Bazzill Cardstock; Buttons, Brads; October Afternoon Mini Alphas - all included in the Queen Scraps Kit

The collection of papers from Jillibean Soup and American Crafts is a wonderful array of colors and designs. All papers are double sided. Two specialty papers included as well. Embelllishments from Jenni Bowlin, Prima, Jillibean Soup, Zva and American Crafts alphas in chocolate. Yummmo! Here are 3 layouts I created so far with this wonderful kit, and I still have tons of product left over for more creations!!

I wanted to share some Heritage Pages I've been working on. While going through some photos my dad had given me a while back, I found an envelope that contained the photos from my grandparents' honeymoon in 1939! I was SO excited! So, I have decided to create an album of these photos. I want to preserve these photos and pass them along to my girls!
I chose to use the original photos, using photo corners to add them to the page. So, they are removable if the need ever arises. This first page I think I've shared with you already, but I wanted to include it in this group.
These 1st 4 layouts were created with 2 of the July Kits from Queen Scraps!! You definately need to head on over there to check out the AWESOME kits coming up in August too!!
Supplies Used: October Afternoon (Fly A Kite) Patterned Paper & Cardstock Stickers, Alpha Stickers, Bazzill Cardstock, Queen & Company Pearls. ** All items can be found in the October Afternoon Kit at Queen Scraps with the exception of the pearls, which can be purchased in the Queen Scraps on-line store! **
Supplies Used: Basic Grey Mas & Whiskers Patterned Paper, Buttons & Felt Flowers, Bazzill Cardstock, Alpha Stickers, Journaling Blocks. ** All items included in the BG Max & Whiskers Kit at Queen Scraps! **
These are just some misc. layouts completed during the month!
This one was inspired by a sketch posted over at Live, Imagine, Create!
Supplies Used: Leftovers from the K&Company Poppy Seed Kit at Queen Scraps!
The following layouts were inspired by various challenges over at Cookin Up Creations.
Supplies Used: K&Company Patterned Paper, Bazzill Cardstock, Prima Flowers
And now a few misc. cards & one layout, created with Core'dinations Cardstock & MSE Stamps... both sponsored the Design Team at Cookin' Up Creations in July!! As you can see, I had some fun with my Cricut Expression & Cuttlebug & Sizzix embossing folders on these!! TFL!
Wow! That's a lot of stuff! LOL I have a few more heritage layouts to share, but I'll do that in another post!! Thank you for looking and for all of your wonderful comments!! Have An Awesome Day!!
