Been doing a little scrapping...

I finally had some time to sit and scrap for me! :) I've been playing around with using more white space and I have to say that I'm pleased with the results!

This one is for a GDT call I'm trying for... I had to create a 12x12 layout using only ONE 4x4 photo! :)

This one is for Cheri's March Challenge at CSS... I had to use strips of paper as part of the background of the layout. :) I just love this photo of my youngest, Andrea & her daddy walking through my IL's fruit orchard. What you don't see in the photo is that she is just chattering away to her daddy. :)

Week 5: Emotions Mini Album "Patience"

Week 3: Emotions Mini Album - Happiness

WOW I didn't realize how long it had been since I've updated here! I have been scrapping, but I can't post the layouts. I am creating them for the "Crowned" contest at http://www.scrapdango.com/ and one of the rules is we can't post our layouts anywhere until after the contest is over. We are in week 3 and, even if I don't win, I am pleased with my creations so far. :-)


I have been sick for the past 2 weeks and it's getting old!! It started with a terrible cough and now I'm getting it in my head too! I am SO ready for some nice warm weather so I can throw open all the windows and send the germs packing!!!

Week One: "Emotions" Mini Album

Well, the assignment for Week One was to create the Cover & Title Page for our Emotions Mini Album. I chose a small 6x6 pocket mini album as mine, so I don't have room for a cover page, but I did create my cover.

Playing a bit more with digi...

I have been playing with my PhotoShop & some digi kits (some downloaded on-line & some I have CD's for). I made these quick, simple layouts today using a kit frin a CD by Digital Scrapbook Memories. The more I learn what my PhotoShop can do, the more I'm liking this Digi Scrapbooking! Don't get me wrong though... it'll never replace my paper scrapping!

No School Today... Again!!!

Well, thanks to an ics storm that moved through last night, there is no school again today. Thankfully, it's warming up a bit and it's just raining now. Lots of laundry & chores to do today... kids aren't happy about that! LOL
