Back from the Doctors...

Well, Dean is back from the Dr's... no one needed antibiotics!! WOO HOO! Jess does have a bad cold, so the Dr. gave her some stronger cough meds & nasal spray! Emily is feeling better, and hasn't been sick all day... Yeah!!

Quick! Get the Disinfectant!!

UGH!!! I'm living in a house full of sickies!!! Dean, Jess & Em are all sick!! Victoria & Andrea are sniffling a bit, but nothing serious! Dean just dropped Andrea on the bus & is off the dr. with Jess (we are thinking sinus infection, bronchitis and/or ear infection). Emily was up sick a lot last night, so we kept her out of school! I want to run and hide!! I can't afford to get sick, and I'm usually the one that gets it last and worst!!

It's my day off today, so I'm doing laundry, housework & hopefully some scrapping. There is a cool 9 week "Emotions" mini-album Class being taught by the wonderful & creative Tam, coming up at Creative Scrap Shack starting on February 1st, and I want to decide what album I'm going to use and create the album cover!

Well, I'm off to start my day... Have a great one!!

Trying my hand at digi scrapping...

I managed to download a free digi kit the other day (took THREE hours with my dial-up!!) I thought it might be fun to scrap our Disney Vacation photos both digitally AND on traditionally. That way, I can send my parents (who came on the trip with us) a copy of a DVD with all the layouts! :)

I found this great site... http://www.shabbyprinesss.com/ and I downloaded this fun kit... Express Yourself by Ronna Penner and this is what I created! I'm still at the "just playing" stage... this is still all new to me! I also want to try to download more kits to use!!

Sunday Already?!?!

Where did the weekend go?? I suppose having to work all day yesterday didn't help!

Well, let's see what went on this weekend... Friday night, my oldest DD swam in her final meet of the year (District). She did really well in a couple of her events and came in 1st. However, her times weren't quite fast enough to make it to the next meet. DH and I are proud of how well she did though!

Yesterdaday, I worked... all day.... 9-5! UGH! It wasn't so bad, as I had plenty to do, but it's a long day to spend almost all on my feet... OUCH!

Today, not much happening... mostly laundry & housework with (hopefully) a little scrapping thrown in later today. Most of my house is all sniffly, sneezing & coughing... maybe I should forget the housework, & hide in here all day to stay away from all the cold germs! LOL

Feburary Class Samples...

I teach the Scrapbooking Classes at the Michael's where I work. Once a month I do a "Cricut: 101" class. It's not really a class for techniques, but more for ideas & I try to showcase a different cartridge each month. February's class is featuring the "Mickey & Friends" Disney Cartridge. :) They will create (2) 8"x8" Layouts...

I'm already falling behind...

LOL I'm already falling behind and not keeping up with my blog! Oh Well... Don't want to bore you all with my day-to-day life! :-D


I'm finally on my new work schedule, which acutally gives me an extra day off during the week, but I need to work all day Saturday... so it's good & bad, I guess. Today they had me stocking shelves! They seem to forget that I have an actual "job" that I was hired to do!!


The CSS Birthday On-Line Crop was AWESOME!! I got a BUNCH done!! :) Jen & the DT did a wonderful job putting everything together & all of the challenges were great!! Here is what I accoplished during the crop...

SNOW DAY!

Well, we are having our first snow storm of the season! Now, keep in mind, down here we don't get a whole lot of snow, so even a few inches is HUGE! Depending on who you listen to, we are expecting 1-6 inches. My girls are bouncing off the walls! LOL Luckily, I ended up having my schedule at work changes, so I don't have to go in until tomorrow afternoon, and my hubby is home as well.

Today I am hanging out at on of my old stomping grounds, Creative Crafts & Stickers, for a Birthday Celebration Crop! But sadly, it's also a farewell crop, as the site will close by the end of January. I used to be on the Design Team a while back and it's a wonderful site! But I know that this is the best thing for the owner and I know we'll keep in touch! I'll be putting up a challenge tomorrow morning... Join us if you can! HAPPY 3rd BIRTHDAY CCAS!! I'm hoping to get some scrapping done during the crop!

Nothing much happened today... just work! LOL I work as the Event Coordinator at a local Michael's. It's not a bad job, but management isn't very supportive of that position. :(



Since I want to share my passion fo scrapping through my blog, I thought I'd post a few recent layouts I created.

This is my youngest daughter's very 1st hair cut... she was excited until we got to the salon, but then was a bit unsure about the whole thing. By the time we got home, she LOVED her new look!
